A Regional SHERQ Manager whose expertise includes but is not limited to:
SHEQ management system implementation, maintenance and management (FSSC22000 including Food Defence ; SANS10330; ISO 9001;ISO 14001; OSHAS 18001) and related statutory requirements.
Legislation interpretation and compliance management ( e.g. OHS Act, NEMA, NEM:WA ; NEM:AQA, National Water Management act, NEMA, Animal Disease act)
Codes of practice interpretation and compliance management ( e.g. SAPA, GMPs, Biosecurity, Animal Welfare)
Procedure and policy writing, form template drawing up and document control
Conducting HACCP studies, Environmental Impacts assessments and Occupational Health and Safety Risk Assessment
Customer requirement interpretation, implementation, compliance maintenance and improvements
Management system auditing (including drawing up of schedule, audit scoping, audit templates and reports)
Training on understanding of (customer and management system) requirements, risk assessments and HACCP studies
Training on Root cause analysis (Including drawing up of training material)
Handling and closure of non-conformance and non-compliance
Her current Key Responsibilities include:
To drive risk management, technical food safety, occupational health and safety, environmental and quality compliance across the Northern Region from a strategic level to ensure that the Company maintains the relevant industry related certifications, drives continuous improvement and meets legislative, regulatory and performance standards in the market place.
To manage supplier quality assurance to ensure the attainment of the most progressive safety, health and quality standards in the market place.
To drive compliance with Group standards on risk management, food safety, occupational health and safety and quality compliance and to enhance the group framework as appropriate.
