Executive Summary:

A seasoned HR Professional with solid Generalist experience for over 15 years. She has completed a National Diploma in Public Management.

Solid end to end Human Resources experience, from Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Skills Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations and Compliance. She has been in Management/ Leadership role for the past 7 years.

Passionate about people and have an excellent ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of HR strategies in business.

Currently, she is the Group Executive Head for HR, responsible to lead the HR Division for InsideData Group by providing the overall strategic direction for the Group, creating an enabling work environment with a high-performance culture which supports InsideDatas Strategic and Business Objectives through planning, directing and overseeing all HR operational activities

Prior to joining InsideData, she was with ATC SA as the HR Business Partner, responsible for the end to end Human Resources function. She also supported the other ATC markets (Ghana, Uganda and Nigeria) on all HR global initiatives like Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits.

Before joining ATC SA, she was an HR Consultant for Liberty Life, and prior to that for Cell C, where she had an opportunity to work with different business areas, from the Technology Group, Finance to Sales and Distribution.

During her career she has gained a wide knowledge and experience in the HR field and has learned how to deliver business success through strategic partnership and collaboration. She is passionate about driving the People Agenda.

Career Highlights:
  • ATC South Africa 2011 to 2015: Established the HR function for South Africa and also supported the other African markets established after SA as an HR Business Partner. Headed all the Global HR initiatives for ED,'TEA.
  • InsideData 2015 to date:  Established the HR function for the Group.  Designed HR Policies and Processes, and HR systems.  Single-handedly managed retrenchment process in 2015 which was escalated further and the Labour Court ruling in favor of company.  Responsible for the BBBEE HR related pillars where InsideData was awarded a Level 2 BBBEE in 2018.


Career challenges:   
  • Upon joining InsideData in 2015, the company just concluded a business acquisition which included sl 97 staff transfers. The transaction was not concluded properly and there was a lot of role duplication. Over and above that, the transfered employees had to move from the old office location. The challenge for Pauline was as heading the HR function for the business, to integrate the teams and implement Change Management programs/initiatives to a workforce that was very much divided and disengaged at the time.
  • Still with InsideData, the management team is male dominated which was a challenge for her, at first to gain their trust and their buy in what HR can deliver to the business.
