Job Role: Senior Design Consultant Salary: Market Related Location: JHB
Provide technical expertise to the enhancement of assurance and orchestration processes for all Enterprise, Wholesale and Fixed customer processing technologies. To define strategic change initiatives to improve current processes relating to sales enablement, product development, operational excellence, financial management, revenue assurance, client service, SLA and OLA management for Enterprise, Wholesale and Network Group. Manage full integration of all processes and link to best practice.

Key Performance Areas:
Design strategies to improve workflow effectiveness and plans for implementation
Formulating inputs towards technology strategy.
Deliver a target process management framework with a 3 year time horizon taking organisational developments into consideration
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops plans/policies/procedures to support the functional area.
Responsible for delivering and executing all aspects of end to end process design and delivery, from ideation and initial process problem solving through to solution development, implementation, change management and benefits realisation for Enterprise and Wholesale and Fixed Customers
Structure an efficient process design and implementation approach, leveraging existing principles in the area
Drive execution of near term plans
Mange and lead a process design team to achieve process and project objectives
Develop relevant documents as input to commercial and technical team
Identify process problems and deviations from endorsed process targets, applying expert knowledge of end-to-end processes and associated constraints/ opportunities
Manage the process of identifying the root cause analysis on process anomalies to determine underlying causes for these problems, in alignment with problem-solving frameworks.
Ensure the correct benchmarks, technological trends and tools are incorporated into the process management plan to provide a world class service to the Company’s Fixed, Enterprise and Wholesale customers
Maintain awareness of current industry and market trends to ensure, where appropriate, problems are solved creatively and innovatively or through emerging market opportunities
Partner with other departments to ensure implementation resources and requirements are mobilised efficiently to enable an Agile end-to-end design and delivery approach.
Conduct extensive consultation with impacted stakeholders across the business throughout the design and execution process, to ensure feedback is incorporated efficiently and a collaborative outcome is achieved.
Support the process design quality, governance and risk management requirements through the design process, by ensuring Process Architecture is updated throughout delivery, and quality controls over design effectiveness are effectively deployed throughout the Initiative.
Contribute to the Companies Fixed and Enterprise masterplan
Drive the go live for new processes and associated systems as designed and oversee the staged implementation process. This involves working with execution teams within the business to ensure variables and assumptions are accurate, and modifying the approach as required.
Identify variances to benefits and targets and take corrective action to modify designs as necessary. Work collaboratively with defect owners to design solutions to identified process and system defects.
Work in partnership with an extensive stakeholder group to provide a seamless and united experience for our internal and external customers
Form effective proactive working relationships with Strategic Business Partners to ensure the effective delivery of projects and process change to customers.

Over 10 years in Converged (ICT, Fixed, Mobile), with at least 5 years’ experience in process design, process improvement or operational excellence.
Experience with process modelling tools and associated methodologies
Experience in project management and delivery and familiarity with associated methodologies
