Regional Marketing Manager Location: Polokwane Salary: R 750 000 Per Annum CTC
The Regional Marketing(GTM) Manager is part of the Regional Leadership team reporting to the General Manager. This role plays a critical role securing delivery of visible market differentiation, market Share and NPS benefits to the region through integrating national activities with local regional interventions to help drive impactful in-marketing execution. Lead the client's efforts to take products to market with a deep understanding and creative flair with a aim to create a market leading appeal to more customers and encourage greater usage. This role will assumes responsibility to launch and manage products in the market place. Driving value for the Company and increasing product appeal through relevant and exciting proposition that is brought to life with impactful marketing campaigns in close collaboration with the broader Company commercial team at Head Office.
The position is primarily responsible for:
Lead the development and management of integrated GTM plans across all products, segments, services and channels on a rolling 3 to 6 month basis
Develop Multi-Tired GTM execution blue print which will allow internal stakeholders to clearly understand their commitments and extract maximum possible value from in campaigns and sponsorship properties
Stays close to Customer, competitor and market developments to identify innovative product launch strategies and activities where transferred learnings will benefit future launches.
Alignment of all category GTM projects across the SA business. Including;
Fit with overall marketing plans
Fit with commercial objectives
Alignment with Devices strategy
Secure Region specific opportunities for differentiation and revenue generation from HO Commercial Teams to support the quarterly planning, based on insights (internal (CVM) and external sources) that is aligned with Segments, Sales, Customer Ops & Technology.
Responsible for the formulation and delivery of regional GTM plans across all functions (CBU,EBU and Network) within their Region, ensuring that all elements of the marketing mix are aligned to relevant market segment and deliver against the Company's strategic and commercial objectives.
Delivery of core commercial objectives such as revenue growth, market share and Brand measures inclusive of NPS, Differentiation, CVM, and Acquisition
Support regional GM in integrating regional requirements into the 3 years Long Range Plan creation across the SA inclusive of Digital, Network & IT, S&D, CX functions.
Driving in-market execution leadership and ensure alignment of Regional Marketing activities with the overall plan
Lead the Regional engagement with Segments, Marketing, Pricing, Channel and GTM teams
Monitor and report on competitive regional insights and collaborate with Segments, Marketing, Pricing, Channel and GTM teams to implement plans to remain competitive.
Develop, manage and execute the Regional Marketing Branding, Events and Sponsorships and promotional plan and road-map to drive Brand visibility, affinity and awareness across segments and regions.
Liaise with Segments and Customer experience to continuously deepen Regional market and customer insights understanding.
Analyse Regional market and performance trends and highlight areas that need attention and improvement
Work with Segments, Service and Channel teams to support regional customer experience requirements through appropriate service support processes.
Minimum & Preferred Requirements:
5 + years of relevant experience in a market related field
5-10 years management experience within mobile eco-system and or FMCG
A strong background in marketing and/or advertising and/or in Fast Consumer Goods or Retail-intensive industries
Deep understanding of shopper marketing
Experience in developing and executing customer marketing interventions
