Job Role:   Inbound Marketing Manager
Salary:  R 560 000 Negotiable Per Annum
Location:  JHB 

Purpose of the role:
End to End accountability for CVM digital activities within Prepaid business. Use data-driven agile-marketing approaches to drive results quickly, build top-notch marketing capabilities to improve customer experience & engagement.
With the increasing trends in computing devices across the globe, digital marketing has become very vital. Half of the world’s population now owns the smartphone. Data penetration will continue to grow its share as there is a huge potential. The main advantage of digital marketing is that a targeted audience can be reached in a cost-effective and measurable way.

Strategy:
  • Our strategy is to use digital media as a channel to reach out more number of customers in a cost-effective and measurable way.
  • Direct communication with customer with Relevant content and better ROI.
  • In a long term perspective digital marketing will help the Company to build the brand Reputation.
Delivery:
  • Targeted digital marketing campaigns to increase Digital / CVM revenues & product experience. 
  • Focus on promoting Play & win, gaming, Music, Video, Financial Services and other digital services.
  • Create and update digital marketing strategies that will support the organisation to achieve its aims as part of the overall Marketing and Communications plan
  • Improve Value added services (Ring back tone, out of Credit, Mobile internet (WAP link survives) penetration with strong analytic skills using CVM models & other key variables. (Customer Balance, Profile, Previous purchase history etc.).
  • Work with High Value CVM team to design device strategy to improve digital penetration
  • Use Various digital Media tools (Facebook, Twitter, you tube and google+ app) to promote the Companies product and Services.
  • Work closely with Digital team/3rd party partners to effectively promote the relevant services with suitable channels.
  • Support digital team with digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data.
  • Share Ideas, best practices from other industries to increase adoption of marketing campaigns at lower cost.
  • Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing. Solid understanding of web metrics etc. 
  • Track and measure the digital marketing performance for each channel and campaign from time to time in order to carry out the optimizations
  • Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business. 
Capability:
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. 
  • Experience of creating successful digital marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Telco/VAS (SMS & Wap services) Industry understanding.
  • Knowledge of the telecoms sector specifically for prepaid business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and stakeholders engagement skills
People:
  • Create and manage a high performing team.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • 3 year Degree/Diploma in Commerce (Marketing/Communications)
  • SQL, SAS Thinking outside the box
  • Being able to retrieve, interpret and work with data
  • Ability to identify opportunities - Market Gap Analysis
  • 5 years in the area of specialisation
  • Telecoms/Banking background
