Role Purpose and Contribution:
Plan, organise, direct and coordinate financial procedures, interventions and programs aimed at optimizing mill profitability and adherence to good corporate governance, while providing timely and relevant management reports to assess mill performance and aid in decision making. You will have 5 direct reports and 17 indirect reports. Reporting to the General Manager
Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential. With reporting from the moment the raw material is ordered, received, converted; to the warehouse, to Client/Sales.
This role supports the strategy by:
Aiding in decision making by providing accurate, credible and useful information and analysis to inform effective strategy decisions and course of action.
Contribute to the leadership of the mill by partnering with the business and providing proactive advice, support and by providing effective on-going monitoring of performance against strategic goals.
This role interacts with the following key people:
Sound understanding of accounting standards and principles, specifically International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
