Divisional SHEQFS Manager this is a highly strategic position. They are a very regulated company as may be aware that some of the products are ingredients in the food including baby food products. The candidate should well versed with the food industry systems and can guide management teams on best system in this environment.
This role at divisional senior management level is for an expert within the SHEQFS discipline and reports to the Operations Director of the Division, in his capacity as the Executive responsible for SHERQFS. The role is located in Gauteng and spans across all of the Companies Operations. This incumbent has a strong focus on the management of information that influences divisional operational decision making processes for SHERQFS functions. He/she takes overall responsibility to coordinate development and implementation of SHERQFS strategies for the Division. He/she is therefore responsible for providing direction and guidance on matters relating to SHERQFS and relevant Risk Management at a divisional level. In addition, there is a strong emphasis on the development of a long term Zero Harm culture across the entire Company stakeholder society that includes customers, employees, contractors, service providers, farmers and surrounding communities.
The incumbent interfaces regularly with Divisional Senior Executives, General Managers, Senior Management at operations and corporate office, SHERQFS Managers, worker leadership (including trade unions), regulatory authorities, contractors senior management and communities (largely through the community participation forums).
